Bio/Description
I am a planetary astrophysicist. My research interests involve understanding the physical, chemical, and dynamical processes that dictate how planets form and evolve and how this ultimately leads to an environment suitable for life. To this end, I use a synergy of theory and tools from across the fields of astrophysics, geosciences, and chemistry.
I completed my Ph.D. at the University of California, Los Angeles, and prior to that, undergraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. In Fall 2023, I joined the Departments of Astrophysical Sciences and Geosciences as a 51 Pegasi b Fellow, Harry H. Hess Postdoctoral Fellow, and FFPS Fellow.
